Our Staff:
Berne Preschool is fortunate to have a dedicated staff full of compassion and love for every child. Each teacher is an experienced early childhood educator and regularly participates in educational conferences to build and enhance their teaching skills. All of our teachers are certified in Infant & Child CPR.
Greta Lehman is a teacher in the Bears class and the current director of Berne Preschool. She first joined the preschool in 1985, and her past duties have included teaching the Cubs and chairing the school’s board of directors. Greta graduated from Goshen College with a degree in elementary education and a kindergarten endorsement. Greta and her husband Scott enjoy spending time with their son Tim and their daughter and son-in-law Anne and Phil Shenk. Her favorite past-time is sitting on her front porch and reading.

Nancy enjoys going on day trips with her husband Stan and spending time with their two grown children, Erin and Kyle and their granddaughter Jazmyn. She is an animal lover and cares dearly for her cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, cows and goats!
